What happens on the free discovery call?
It's a free 20-minute conversation. You'll get a feel for who I am, and we'll talk through your general goals to see whether we'd work well together and which service might help. There's no pressure and no obligation.
What if I don't know which service I need?
That's what the discovery call is for. Tell me what's frustrating you about your wardrobe and I'll suggest where to start, or tell you honestly if you don't need me.
Will you judge my body or my closet?
Never. I've styled women and men across every body type, budget, and closet situation. My job is to work with what's real, not to criticize it.
Do I need to clean out my closet first?
No. For The Closet Edit, leave your closet as it is: we'll go through everything together, so there's nothing to tidy or clean out beforehand. The other services don't involve going through your closet.
Will you change my style?
No. The goal is to make your own style easier to wear. If you want to try a new direction, we can explore it, but only if you want to.
Do I have to buy new clothes?
Not unless you want to. The Closet Edit works entirely from what you already own. Other services, like the Signature Style Refresh, involve choosing new pieces, and we set a clothing budget together up front. You always decide what to buy, from wherever you want, and I never pressure you.
How do I pay?
Payment is by invoice. I prefer Zelle; I also accept check. Venmo is available with a 3% service charge. I do not take payments through this website.
How do I reserve a date?
A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves your date. The balance is due at the start of your first session, or on delivery for virtual services.
What if I need to reschedule?
Please give 48 hours notice to reschedule at no charge. Changes with less notice, or missed sessions, forfeit the deposit.
How long do I have to use a package?
Package sessions should be used within 90 days of booking. The one exception is the Pittsburgh Welcome Wardrobe's seasonal check-in, which is timed for before your first winter.
Is the cost of clothing included?
No. Package prices cover my time and expertise. You pay stores directly for anything you buy, and we set a clothing budget together up front.
Where do you work in person?
In-person services are included within 15 miles of Franklin Park, PA, including Bellevue, Cranberry Township, Downtown Pittsburgh, Fox Chapel, Lawrenceville, McCandless, Pine Township, Ross Township, Sewickley, Shadyside, Shaler, and Wexford. Travel beyond that is billed at the current IRS mileage rate. Virtual services are available anywhere.
Do you style men as well as women?
Yes. I have styled women and men across every body type, budget, and lifestyle.
Do I have to follow trends?
No. I care about what fits you and what you'll actually wear. If a trend suits you, great; if not, we skip it.
How long are the prices valid?
Current pricing is valid through 2027.
